tiny slices

Watching the world
through the slats of the blinds
The soft breeze
Blowing the bamboo leaves
The drops of rain
On every tree glistening
In the evening sun
I think I like life better
In tiny slices through the blinds
Instead of all at once.

Oops. I meant to comment yesterday. Slice of life, double-blind. . . I can't remember. When I was young, I'd look through my fingers. That always seemed to help.
